Louise reaches the Los Angeles author, Elizabeth Hall, as to her nonfiction book, I Have Devoted My Life To The Clitoris (Tarpaulin Press, 2016). She approaches this study as it happens when one woman decides to read everything she can about the clit. She traces the clit’s appearance in history, sexology, and plastic surgery, questioning stubborn discursive myths. In her narrative, she also brings qualities from artists, animal anatomists, and feminists, as well as her own personal observations about the clitoris and being a female body in the world.
