Louise welcomes the video artist Kika Nicolela. who’ll discuss aspects of her short documentary Tropic of Capricorn. The film is resonant, moving with the tales of four transsexuals in Brazil. It is set in a rented hotel room, where each trans woman is asked to lay on a bed in an empty room and expose herself to a camera mounted on the ceiling. They each expressing fantasies, hopes, questionings and their experiences in sex work in Sao Paolo.
