Louise welcomes the Toronto filmmaker Joyce Wong, who discusses aspects of her award-winning film, Wexford Plaza. It involves a woman on the verge of 20, who is recently employed as a security guard in a Scarborough strip mall. As she tries to fit in amongst her co-workers, she faces their tendencies to make sexualized comments and gestures to her. She heads to a bar with the other security guards and gets too drunk, the well-meaning bartender who knows her work peers, Danny gives her a ride home. She becomes infatuated with Danny, after a misunderstood sexual encounter between the two, which spurs desperation and disappointment, in not knowing sides of his life, nor he of her experiences.
